Lead Me To the Rock

“From the ends of the earth I call to You, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I.” Psalm 61:2.

These are crazy times for sure. And in the midst of the craziness our lives go on. And we will have hurts and disappointments. We have times when we just cry out “why?!”And if we are being honest, when we get angry with God. When those times happen, I have found myself pulling away from God. You know when as children (or even as adults) we get mad at someone and just want to get away from them?

But when we pull away from God, we miss our healing. We miss what He is trying to teach us. We miss the “why” behind this new part of our testimony.

When we are hurt, let’s remember to call out to God, to seek Him, to go to the One who is higher than we are…that’s where our refuge and peace are.
