Mother’s Day signifies Spring doesn’t it? The table filled with flowers, the good “special” dishes, and of course yummy foods. But Mother’s Day is also hard for many. My mother is no longer with us and the last Mother’s Day I had with her was at a Mother’s Day Tea Party/ Brunch by sister planned. Such sweet memories with her.
Celebrating Mother’s Day with a brunch is a way to now honor of my mother and that special memory we have. And now it is also special to celebrate my daughters who are now mothers themselves.
Brunch seems like such a southern thing. And the great thing about a brunch is you can have it any time with all types of foods. There really are no rules. You can plan a Saturday morning brunch, a Sunday Mother’s Day brunch, or a just because brunch for any day of the week.
I am sharing Mother’s Day brunch menu ideas with you, but always remember you can make it your own with your favorite recipes. You can make it as simple or extravagant as you like. Adding a special recipe of your mother’s is a great way to celebrate and honor her.
I hope you plan a brunch sometime soon to celebrate your friendships, your mothers, daughters, and those who are special to you!
